Do I need a specific sewing machine brand?
No. Our lessons focus on universal principles—threading, bobbins, tension, and presser feet—that apply to most modern domestic machines. We show how to interpret your manual to map controls.
How long do I keep access to a course?
You receive at least 24 months of access with free updates during that time. Downloadable practice sheets and checklists are yours to keep.
What if I’m an absolute beginner?
Start with Beginner Basics. You’ll learn threading, stitch families, fabric handling, and safe habits. Small drills build confidence before your first project.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes. We offer a 14-day refund if you’ve completed fewer than 20% of the lessons in a course. Reach out via the contact form so we can help.
Will I get a certificate?
Upon completion, you can download a course certificate documenting skills practiced and project milestones. It’s a nice way to track progress.
What materials should I have?
Start with universal needles, polyester thread, cotton fabric scraps, fabric scissors, pins or clips, a seam gauge, and your machine manual. We list optional tools inside each course.
Are there live sessions or only recorded lessons?
Core lessons are recorded for flexible pacing. We also run optional live Q&A sessions to review tricky topics like tension troubleshooting and zipper installation.
Can I use an overlocker/serger?
Yes. We have a dedicated Overlocker/Serger track for threading, differential feed, and finishing seams. It complements the standard machine path.
